O título deste post foi a pergunta que, há uns dias, vos fiz no meu instagram. Fiz-vos esta pergunta, pois deparei-me com certas ideias que me chocaram e, além de vos querer mostrar que estas ideias, infelizmente, ainda existem nos dias de hoje, queria também fazer algo sobre isso. Por isso é que me surgiu a ideia de criar um podcast sobre o tema. Vocês gostaram da ideia e já tenho imensos temas que quero abordar e debater. No entanto, é um processo que ainda vai demorar e, até lá, quero abordar este tema aqui no blog e no meu instagram também.
Deixo-vos um post que escrevi há uns tempos sobre um livro que li sobre feminismo que achei muito interessante. Podem ver o post AQUI. Além de falar sobre feminismo, explico também o que aprendi com o livro. Mas podem esperar mais reviews de livros sobre feminismo.
Quanto à pergunta, eu concordo com todas as respostas que vocês me deram. Infelizmente, muita gente ainda acredita que o feminismo é uma disputa entre homens e mulheres, mas basta ler um pouco sobre a história do feminismo para perceber que essa ideia é completamente errada. O feminismo é um movimento que, essencialmente, procura construir condições de igualdade. Esta igualdade, infelizmente, ainda não existe e, por isso, é que temos de continuar a lutar por ela. O machismo é uma triste realidade, ainda muitos homens acreditam que são superiores às mulheres, ainda muitas mulheres acreditam que são inferiores aos homens e, se houver alguma coisa que eu possa fazer para mudar isso, mesmo que em pequena escala, eu vou fazê-lo. Mas deixo também algumas das respostas que vocês me deram e agradeço imenso por todo o vosso apoio. Fico muito feliz por ter uma comunidade que partilha dos mesmos valores e ideias que eu. The title of this post is the question I asked you on my Instagram a couple of days ago. I asked you that because I came across some ideas that really upset me, and besides wanting to show you that this kind of ideas, unfortunately, still exist nowadays, I also wanted to do something about it. That's why I'm thinking about creating a podcast about feminism. You seemed to really like the idea, and I already have some topics I want to talk about. However, I have a long process ahead of me and so, until then, I will talk about it here and on my Instagram.
I will leave a post I wrote a couple of months ago about a book I read about feminism that I really enjoyed. You can read it HERE. I talked about feminism, and also what I learned with the book. But you can expect more reviews on books about feminism.
But returning to the question, I agree with all your answers. Unfortunately, a lot of people still believe that feminism is a war between men and women, but you just have to read a little bit about feminism to understand that that idea is completely wrong. Feminism is a movement that seeks equality. This equality, unfortunately, still doesn't exist, and that's why we have to keep fighting for it. Machism still exists, a lot of men still believe that are superior to women, and a lot of women still believe that are inferior to men, and if there's something that I can do to change that, I will do it. Above are some of the answers you sent to me, and I really appreciate all your support. Makes me really happy to know I have a community that share the same values and ideas as me. You are the best!
