Ok, vamos então começar com o quarto e quinto dia em Londres, os últimos. Deixámos sempre o nosso último dia completo para ir às compras e foi isso mesmo que fizemos. Tomámos o pequeno-almoço no ITJL (o café mesmo junto ao hotel onde têm 15% de desconto) e seguimos para Piccadilly Circus. A manhã foi passada na Regent Street, onde encontram lojas como a Weekday, Cos, &OtherStories, Arket e Anthropologie. Chegou a hora de almoço e fomos para a zona de Carnaby. Almoçámos no The Diner, um restaurante do qual já ficámos fãs da última vez, e, claro, tínhamos de voltar. Depois fomos a algumas lojas que encontram nesta zona, a Liberty (mais uma loja de departamento muito conhecida em Londres, mas foi mesmo só para ver) e a Monki. Chegou então a altura de irmos para a Oxford Street e ir à gigantesca Topshop que encontram nesta rua. Falam muito bem dos jeans de lá, por isso, desta vez, resolvi trazer uns (depois mostro-vos tudo). Fomos também à Reserved, Office, Urban Outfitters, Uniqlo e M&S. Acreditem ou não, mas isto demorou-nos o dia todo (e não conseguimos chegar a tempo de ir ao Selfridges). Para jantar voltámos ao Garfunkel's, eu disse-vos que a pizza era realmente muito boa. No quinto e último dia, ainda conseguimos dar uma volta, pois o nosso voo era só à noite. Decidimos tomar um último pequeno-almoço em grande e voltámos a Convent Garden para comer panquecas no Tuttons. Queríamos voltar à &OtherStories, por isso, muito rapidamente, voltámos lá e fizemos as nossas últimas compras. A última zona que visitámos foi Camden Town, onde almoçámos (fomos outra vez ao The Diner que também há por lá) e demos uma volta para nos despedirmos de Londres. Camden Town é uma zona bem diferente do resto de Londres, tem uma atmosfera alternativa, é quase como uma mistura de todos os estilos, mas eu adoro! Ok, let's go with with day four and five in London, our last days there. We always leave our last full day free to go shopping and that was exactly what we did. We had breakfast at ITJL (the café right outside our hotel where you have 15% off) and then headed to Piccadilly Circus. The morning was spent at Regent Street where you can find stores like Weekday, Cos, &OtherStories, Arket and Anthropologie. Then it was time for lunch and we went to the area of Carnaby. We had lunch at The Diner, a restaurant we became fans of last year and so we had to go back there. After that we went to some stores you can find in this area, Liberty (another very famous department store in London, but only to window shop) and Monki. Then it was time to go to Oxford Street and the enormous Topshop they have in there. I've heard so many good things about their jeans so this time I decided to buy one pair (I'll show you everything). We also went to Reserved, Office, Urban Outfitters, Uniqlo and M&S. Believe it or not, but this took us all day (and we didn't manage to get in time to go to Selfridges). For dinner we went back to Garfunkel's, I told you that the pizza was really really good. On the fifth and last day we could stroll around, because the flight was only at night. We decided to have a really good breakfast so we went back to Convent Garden to have some pancakes at Tuttons. We wanted to go back to &OtherStories so very quickly we went back there and did our last shopping. The last neighborhood we visited was Camden Town where we had lunch (we went back to The Diner, they also have a restaurant there) and stroll around to say goodbye to London. Camden Town is an area really different from the rest of London, it has an alternative vibe, it's almost a mix of all styles, but I love it! Fazemos uma pausa nos posts de Londres, para partilhar com vocês a minha playlist deste mês, afinal de contas o mês de Abril está mesmo a acabar. Não sei se foi por ter ido a Londres ou pelo concerto estar cada vez mais próximo (e o lançamento do novo álbum também), mas não tenho parado de ouvir Arctic Monkeys, então o primeiro álbum tem sido mesmo non stop. Outro artista que adoro (e que provavelmente também vou ver ao vivo) é o Father John Misty e, por isso, também tenho andado a ouvir muitas músicas dele. De resto, são tudo old favorites. Espero que gostem!

Let's do a little pause on the London posts to share with you my monthly playlist, after all April is coming to and end. I don't know if it's because I went to London or because the concert is slowly approaching (and the launch of the new album as well), but I just can't stop listen to the Arctic Monkeys, mainly the first album, that one has been really non stop. Another artist that I love (and that hopefully I will also see live) is Father John Misty and so I have also been listening to a lot of this songs. The other ones are old time favorites. I hope you like them!

Confesso-vos que o meu amor por macacões está a crescer de dia para dia. Se antes achava uma peça um pouco boring, sem grandes hipóteses de combinações, hoje em dia adoro-os! Talvez por cada vez gostar mais de peças práticas ou simplesmente porque são realmente muito cool, mas já não consigo entrar numa loja sem cobiçar um macacão e, sem dúvida, que acho que deviam ter um que realmente gostam no vosso armário. E porquê? É a fórmula de outfit mais rápida de sempre, é apenas uma peça, por isso basta vesti-lo e estão prontas, mais simples é impossível. Podem também usá-los em diversas ocasiões, neste caso, eu usei o meu de uma forma mais casual com sapatilhas, mas basta trocar para uns sapatos altos e com os acessórios certos podem usá-los em ocasiões mais formais. E, por último, são super confortáveis. Usei este (que é novo btw) durante um dos dias em Londres e não podia ter feito melhor escolha, senti-me mesmo muito bem. Então, estão convencidos? Ou já se tinham rendido e já têm um macacão que adoram no vosso armário?

I confess that my love for jumpsuits has been growing day after day. If before I thought they were a bit boring with not that many ways to wear them, today I love them! Maybe because I'm more and more into practical clothes or simply because they really are really cool, but I can't go to a store without falling in love with a jumpsuit and I really think you should have one in your wardrobe that you really like. And why? It's the quickest outfit formula ever, it's only one piece so you just have to put it on and you're ready, easier than this it's impossible. You can also wear it to different occasions, I wore mine in a very casual way with sneakers, but if you change them to high heels and with the right accessories you can also wear it to a formal event. And last, but not least, they're super comfortable. I wore this one (that is new btw) during one of the days in London and I couldn't have done a better choice, I felt really good in it. So, are you convinced yet? Or were you already a fan and already have a jumpsuit that you love in your wardrobe?

Como prometido, aqui está tudo sobre o sítio onde ficámos quando estivemos por Londres. Já não é a primeira vez que ficámos no The Stay Club em Colindale, por isso, já se tornou a nossa casa longe de casa. Além dos quartos estarem equipados com tudo que possam precisar (camas, kitchenette com mesa para refeições, secretária e casa-de-banho), podem encontrar vários espaços incríveis pelos 19 pisos, por isso não vos vai mesmo faltar nada. Têm um restaurante que serve desde o pequeno-almoço ao jantar (e brevemente vai ter também uma esplanada fantástica), uma área com salas de aula onde podem também encontrar computadores que podem usar, uma sala de cinema (sim, leram bem!) e uma discoteca onde fazem festas regularmente. Além de tudo isto, está a segundos da estação de metro (o que foi fantástico para nós, porque era o nosso transporte todos os dias), tem um supermercado mesmo à porta e vários cafés e restaurantes muito perto e que por estarem hospedados no The Stay Club têm desconto. Por isso, não podia recomendar mais o The Stay Club, as nossas estadias têm sido sempre perfeitas!

As promised, here is everything about the place we stayed at when we were in London. It's not the first time we stayed at the The Stay Club in Colindale so it has already become our home away from home. Besides the rooms being equipped with everything you might need (beds, kitchenette with dining table, desk and bathroom), you can find amazing spaces around the 19 floors, so you're not going to miss anything. You have a restaurant that serves from breakfast to dinner (and will soon have an amazing terrace), an area with classrooms where you can find iMac's that you can use, an in-house cinema (yep, you've read it right!) and a disco where they throw parties very often. Besides all of this, it's just seconds away from the subway station (which was awesome for us, because it was our transport everyday), it has a supermarket right at the door and several cafés and restaurants nearby in which you have a discount because you're staying at The Stay Club. So I only have good things to say about The Stay Club, our stays have always been perfect!

Portanto, aqui está o segundo e terceiro dia por Londres. Apesar de ainda lá termos estado alguns dias, a viagem passou a correr. Vimos tanta coisa e passou tudo tão rápido que é difícil lembrar-me o que vi em cada dia, mas pelo menos estes posts ajudam-me com isso. O segundo dia começou pela zona de Convent Garden. Íamos com intenções de tomar o pequeno-almoço no byChloé, mas as opções não eram muitas, por isso acabamos por ficar no Le Petit Quotidien (um café que encontram por várias zonas de Londres). Na zona do Convent Garden têm uma rua, a Long Acre, com várias lojas, onde encontrámos o TK Maxx, uma loja com imensas peças de designer com descontos fantásticos, vale muito a pena dar uma vista de olhos. No fim desta rua, demos de caras com o Five Guys e decidimos, finalmente, experimentar e almoçar por lá. Depois de almoço, seguimos, novamente, para o Museu de História Natural e, finalmente, conseguimos ver a exposição completa. Passámos lá grande parte da nossa tarde (ficamos mesmo até fechar), mas quando saíamos e, como não estávamos muito longe, fomos ao Harrods, uma loja de departamento que ainda não conhecíamos. Acabávamos sempre os dias super cansadas, mas no dia seguinte acordávamos cheias de vontade de começar o dia e de conhecer coisas novas. No nosso terceiro dia, tínhamos uma reserva para irmos ao Sky Garden. A visita é grátis, mas têm de fazer reserva online uma semana antes, por isso se estiverem a pensar ir, não se esqueçam disso!  E como já estávamos na zona, fomos almoçar ao Nando's, um restaurante que já tínhamos ido da última vez, mas gostamos tanto que voltámos (têm este mesmo restaurante em várias zonas de Londres também). Este foi o dia mais quente, mas ainda assim fomos conhecer o Borough Market e, desde lá, caminhamos até à London Eye. Fomos depois a mais um museu, o Victoria&Albert, mas, mais uma vez, chegámos muito tarde e não conseguimos ver tudo, por isso, rumámos até a Leicester Square onde encontram a famosa loja M&M's World. É uma zona sempre cheia de animação, por isso tem uma vibe incrível. Jantámos por lá (melhor pizza que comi na vida e olhem que não digo isto muitas vezes, o nome do restaurante era Garfunkel's) e demos o dia por terminado.

So, let's go with our second and third day in London. We were there for a few days, but time really flew by. We saw so many things and it was everything so fast that it's hard for me to remember what we did each day, but at least this posts help me with that. Our second day started at Convent Garden. We wanted to have breakfast at byChloé, but the options weren't that many so we ended up going to Le Petit Quotidien (a café you find in several locations in London). Around Convent Garden there's a street, Long Acre, where you can find a lot of stores and we found TK Maxx, a store with a lot of designer pieces with amazing discounts, it's really worth to take a look around. At the end of that street we found Five Guys and finally decided to give it a go and have lunch there. After lunch we went over again to Natural History Museum and we finally could see the whole exhibition. We spent almost all our afternoon over there (we stayed until it was closed), but after we left and since we where not that far away, we went to Harrods, a department store that we have never been to. We always ended our days really tired, but the next day we woke up really eager to start the day and see new stuff. On the third day we had a reservation to go to Sky Garden. The visit is free, but you have to book a day online with a week in advance, so if you're thinking about going there don't forget about that! I really think you should, the view is amazing. And since we were on the neighborhood, we had lunch at Nando's, a restaurant we have been to the last time and we liked it so much that we went there again (you can find this restaurant in other locations around London). This was the hottest day, but we still went to Borough Market and from there we walked until the London Eye. After that we went once again to a museum, the Victoria&Albert, but we arrived way to late so we couldn't see everything so we headed to Leicester Square where you can find the famous M&M's World store. It's an area full of life so it has a very cool vibe. We had dinner there (I had the best pizza I have ever had and I don't say this too often, the restaurant was Garfunkel's) and the day was over for us.

E está oficialmente aberta a estação das saias de ganga! Se no Inverno é raro verem-me usar saias (apesar de este Inverno ter arriscado um pouco mais do que o habitual), esta Primavera e Verão tenho a sensação que vou "viver" nelas, tanto saias como vestidos. Já tenho algumas, mas hoje vou aproveitar os Color Days no Parque Nascente (até 50% de descontos em lojas seleccionadas, como não aproveitar?) e comprar mais algumas para a minha colecção, já tenho algumas em vista que quero muito experimentar e, possivelmente, trazer comigo (sigam-me no instagram que vou partilhar tudo o que vou andar por lá a fazer). Por isso sim, acho que as saias de ganga fazem parte dos meus básicos/essenciais de Verão. E como todos os bons básicos, esta foi comigo para Londres e foi a escolha perfeita para um dia com muito calor (sim, ao contrário do que é típico da cidade, esteve mesmo muito quente em Londres). Agora é só mesmo o calor continuar por cá, para usar as minha saias novas e vos mostrar tudo. Mas digam-me, também são fãs de saias de ganga? 

 And the denim skirts season has officially begun! If during Winter you almost never see me wearing skirts (although this Winter I tried to do it more often), this Spring and Summer I feel that I will "live" in them, both skirts and dresses. I already have some, but today I'm going to Parque Nascente Shopping Mall to be part of the Color Days (until 50% of discount in selected stores, how not to?) and I'm thinking about buying a few skirts to add to my collection, I already have some in mind that I really want to try and hopefully bring with me (you can keep up with everything I'm doing there on instagram, don't forget to follow me). So yeah, I think denim skirts are part of my Summer essentials/basics. And like all the good basics, this one came with me to London and it was the perfect choice, because it was really really hot (yeah, against all odds, it was really hot in London). Now I just hope that the heat keeps around so I can wear all my new skirts and show them to you. But tell me, are you also a fan of the denim skirt?

Quando vos digo que adoro Londres é porque adoro mesmo e, apesar de ter sido a minha quinta vez nesta cidade, há sempre alguma coisa nova para ver e para fazer e acho que essa é mesmo uma das muitas razões porque gosto tanto desta cidade, Londres surpreende sempre! Depois de chegarmos e deixarmos as malas no hotel (mais sobre o hotel onde ficámos muito em breve), seguimos para Notting Hill. É uma zona que adoro e é bem mais do que as típicas casas coloridas que se vêm sempre. Gosto sempre de visitar esta área, mas foi a primeira vez que fui num dia em que não havia mercado e, sem dúvida, que é bem mais tranquilo, o que foi óptimo para recarregarmos algumas energias depois da viagem. Almoçámos no Farm Girl, um café bastante conhecido, mas, sinceramente, não achamos nada de especial, ao contrário de muitos cafés a que voltamos este ano, a este eu não voltava. Depois de darmos uma volta por Notting Hill, fomos ao Museu de História Natural. Já lá queríamos ir há muito tempo e desta vez decidimos ir a todos os museus que queríamos visitar. Como já fomos um pouco tarde e o museu fecha cedo, não conseguimos ver tudo o que queríamos (mas voltamos no dia seguinte). O fim do dia foi passado na zona de Chelsea, onde fomos a algumas lojas (a King's Road tem lojas um pouco caras, mas é sempre divertido fazer um pouco de window shopping) e jantámos. E foi este o nosso primeiro dia por Londres, espero que gostem das fotos, tentei fazer algo um pouco diferente do habitual!

When I tell you that I love London, it's because I really really love it and although it was my fifth time in this city, there is always something new to see and to do and I guess that one of the many reasons why I love this city so much, London always surprises me! After we arrived and left our bags at our hotel (more about the hotel where we stayed at very soon), we went straight to Notting Hill. It's a neighborhood that I love and it's way more that those typical colorful houses that you see all the time. I always like to visit this area, but it was the first time I went there in a day that there was no market and it definitely is way more quiet which was perfect to load some batteries after our trip. We had lunch at Farm Girl, a very famous café around there, but honestly we didn't like it that much, as opposed to a lot of cafés that we return to this year, I wouldn't return to this one. After stroll around Notting Hill, we went to the Natural History Museum. We wanted to go there for a long time and this time we decided to go to all the museums we wanted to go to. We arrived a bit late and the museum closes really early so we couldn't see everything we wanted to (but we came back the next day). The end of the day was spent around the Chelsea area where we went to some stores (King's Road has a lot of expensive stores, but it's always fun to do some window shopping) and had dinner. And this was our first day in London, I hope you like the photos, I tried to do something a bit different from usual!
