- all the outfits I shared with you this month -

Mas digam-me, têm algum outfit favorito?

Well, this month was without a doubt the month of stripes and leopard! I mean, they really are my two favourite patterns, but this month was a lot oh them going on, in almost every outfit I shared I'm wearing one of the prints. But it really was unconsciously, I just noticed it when I was getting this post ready with all the outfit I showed you in February. But tell me, do you have a favourite outfit? Your opinions are always so different that is really fun to know which one you like the best, leave your opinions on the comments! Have a great day!

My skin hasn't been in its best look, now on Winter it gets even more dry than what usually is. But there are a few little and really easy tricks that can make a huge difference. No matter what's the problem you have with your skin, this 5 tips will help for sure!

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
Keeping your body hydrated is the first step for a flawless skin. We all already know how important is water to our bodys so try to drink at least 2 liters per day.

APPLY SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY
Sun is one of the major causes for skin problems and you should avoid this applying sunscreen everyday. Even on Winter and cloudy days you should do it. If you think you won't remember, you can choose a moisturizing cream with a SPF.

EXFOLIATE
Include in your skincare routine, exfoliation at least twice a week. It will remove the dead skin and also help the other products you use to work better. You should exfoliate with steam, you can do it while you're in the shower, it will help to get a better looking skin.

CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES
If you use makeup daily, don't forget to clean your makeup brushes and sponges frequently. I must confess I'm the worst when it comes to do this, but brushes get a lot of bacteries that can really damage your skin.

GIVE YOURSELF AN AT HOME FACIAL
Nowadays you already can find loads of face masks in different stores. Pick one that is good for your skin type and that works on the problem that you have with your skin and take some time off to relax and do the mask, you'll see, it will make a big difference.

Contem-me tudo!

So here is what has been in my mind lately, sometimes just because you like fashion or even "worst", just because you're a fashion blogger, people assume right away that you are dumb. Of course I'm generalizing and only people that really don't know you will think that, but for a long time that a person who likes fashion is seen as someone that's futile, consumerist, empty-headed and dumb. I think that with fashion bloggers this got even worst. I think it's because we live of our own image and we "supposedly" have a really easy job (you can read THIS post about all the work that it is to be a blogger) that we are seen this way. Yes, I do love fashion, but I love other things as well. Maybe here on the blog I show more my side that really likes fashion, this is a fashion blog after all, but that's only one side of my personality. It's possible to like fashion and that not be the only thing you think about. We all wear clothes and the first impression people have of us is extremely related to the way we dress so maybe fashion is more important than a lot of people might think. So yes, I like clothes, I like shoes, I like makeup, I like bags, but all that doesn't mean I'm dumb. Have any blogger been a victim of this? Tell me everything!

This month is almost coming to an end so today I will share with you my February playlist. There are some new songs, I've been loving Jack White's new songs, but also a lot of songs by the Arctic Monkeys. Since I knew they are coming to Portugal, I have just been listening to their albuns non stop, actually when I knew I went to buy the tickets to see them right away. Anyone else is fan of Arctic Monkeys? You can listen to the other songs on the playlist below. And by the way, what have you been listening to this month?

I think by now you already get that I have a thing with stripes. You just have to take a look at some of the outfits I posted and in most of them I'm wearing stripes. It can be a bit too much, but I don't think there's a more versatile pattern than this (I didn't forget my beloved leopard, but I have to give this to stripes). I can tell you that I already have a pretty good amount of striped sweaters. From the most usual in navy and white to some a bit more trendy like this one in red and black. Besides, stripes always give a more chic vibe to an outfit, don't you think? There's something about this print that always reminds me of parisian women super stylish in their effertless cool so characteristic. And you know that rule that horizontal stripes make us larger? Forget about it! Rules are meant to be broken and if you really like the print you should wear it no matter what! So tell me, are you also a fan of stripes like I am?

And my 'week on film' is back! Last week we didn't have it, because I had loads of photos from Italy to show you, but now it's back. You can't imagine how much I'm loving this sunny days that really feel like Spring, it feels like you get so much more happier, at least it happens with me. Nothing makes me happier than waking up in the morning, open my window and realize it's beautiful sunny day outside. And meanwhile, this week I already booked my next trip this year, so only good things happening! I hope you like the photos and have a great day!

Today we throwback to Italy with some photos that I ended up not showing you, but also to give you some tips if you're thinking about going there soon. It was my second time on the country and if we don't count Genoa, I have visited almost all the main cities (Florence, Pisa, Turin, Milan, Venice, Verona, Naples and Rome). So here are some tips that may help you when you start planning your trip to Italy. If you have any questions leave them on the comments that I will answer everything!

BOOK IN ADVANCE
Usually all the big monuments/museums in Italy have very long queus. So a good tip is to book in advance online so you can avoid the very big and long queus. We did this when we went to the Duomo in Milan and we managed to save a lot of time.

HAVE PIZZA AND PASTA LIKE A LOCAL
So, the real Italian pasta and pizza are quite simple. They really aren't what we are use to in here with million ingredients. I think the Margherita is the most classic you can get. They can look quite basic, but they are really good so don't be afraid to try them.

FREE TOURS
Basta procurarem no google e fazerem a vossa marcação.
The smallest cities usually have loads of hidden "secrets" that only locals know about. A way to find them out and to know more about the city is to book a free your. Just search it on google and book your tour. Then you just have to go to the meeting point at the time they said and at the end you give as much money as you want to your guide.

Who doesn't love new clothes? That feeling of wearing something for the first time and really loving our outfit! Sometimes it's all we need to get a new inspiration boost. I know this can sound very consumerist, but tell me if you agree with me. Sometimes a new piece of clothing makes you look at your whole closet in a completely different way, makes you think of different ways to wear a piece you already had in your closet, gives you renewed inspiration. And although I don't buy as much clothes as I used to, I still love that feeling and maybe I like it even more because of that, because when I buy I only buy stuff that I know I would love and wear non stop. On this case, I wore two things for the first time, the sweater and jeans. There are two basics, but that made me feel super good and I know I will wear them for a long time. But tell me, what do you think about the outfit? I hope you like it!

I'm pretty sure you all have already heard about Desenio. It's just one of the greatest brands for frames! I did a order not a while ago, the three posters you can see above (you can find the link to each one of them on the photo's caption) and I couldn't be happier with the result. So today I will give you some tips on how to achieve the ultimate gallery wall! And if you're also a fan of the Desenio's frames, you can use the code 'FASHIONMASK25' and you get 25% off *.

GO WITH A COLOR THEME
A way to know that your posters will look good together is to choose posters almost in the same color palette or go with neautral colors. On this case I chose only one in black and white and the other two have the pink in common.

ADD DIMENSION
A wall only with posters can become quite boring so it's very important to add dimension. You can do that using different frames (I used black and golden frames that you can also buy at Desenio btw), you can use shelves insted of hanging the frames on the wall and add other elements beside the frames.

MAKE THEM PERSONAL
When you're choosing your posters have in mind to choose the ones that really relate to you. After all, you don't want quotes or photos hanging in your wall that you may get tired of. This three that I chose are so me. At Desenio you have loads of options, you just have to take a look around and choose your favourites.

PLAN PLACEMENT
If you want to hang the frames on the wall it's very important to plan their placement. Ballance the smaller frames with the larger ones and also see the direction you want the frames to be. For example, the palm trees poster originally is a vertical poster, but I thought it look better on the horizontal. So just try everything before you really hang in on the wall.

*The code “fashionmask25” gives 25% off posters between 20-22 of February.
Except for handpicked-/collaboration posters and frames.

Today I leave you with a sneak peek from a project I worked on some weeks ago here for the blog. If you follow me on instagram, I'm pretty sure you already saw some behing the scenes at the time. I love this kind of projects where we can really let our creativity flow, get a bit out of our comfort zone, create different content for the blog and work with really inspiring people. Are you curious? I can not wait to show you everything! If everything goes as planned, this week I will start sharing, stay tuned!
- last stop on our #ItaRail was Venice -

And Venice was our last stop on our trip. Venice is one of those cities that you walk through and you feel that you're in a movie, it's such a beautiful city. I feel like I'm always saying this about all the cities I went to, but italian cities really have such a different kind of beauty that I really love. But about Venice, we went there around Carnival so of course we had to buy a mask. It's a city full of little streets, bridges and alleys with dead ends so it's really easy to get lost, but I think that's where all the Venice's magic comes from. We went to some important places like S.Marcos Square, Pallazzo Ducalle and Rialto Bridge. The day ended with us going on a gondola ride! I can't say that I loved it, it's a very weird feeling, but still, going to Venice and not go on a gondola ride it's like not enjoying the city on 100%, so I think you should do it anyway (and if you share it with more people, the price per person is not that expensive). I still have more photos to show you from Italy, but the daily "diaries" are finished. If you have any question leave it on the comments that I will answer everything. Have a great Sunday!
