And we finish the year already thinking about the next one. As always, I have for you what you can't miss this January because there's no better way to start the new year than attending some music concerts and see some exhibitions. So keep reading and if you also have some suggestions leave them on the comments.

What To Read
Chama-se 'Why Social Media Is Ruining Your Life' e é escrito pela Katherine Ormerod, também blogger.

After listening to a podcast where they were interviewing the author of this book that my curiosity to read it has been increasing. It's called 'Why Social Media Is Ruining Your Life' and it's by Katherine Ormerod, also a blogger. Summing up, it's a book that takes a look at social media and what social media is doing to us as a society.

Where To Eat
A ementa é a mesma  e o espaço é super instagrammable.

That I love pizza you are all aware of that and you also know that Pizzaria Luzzo is one of my favourite places. You can find this pizzeria in different cities, but my suggestion this month is the brand new restaurant that opened here in Porto in the Mouzinho da Silveria street. The menu is the same and the place is very instagrammable.

What To See

When I went to Lisbon, I went to MATT for the first time and I really like the exhibitions they have in there. The entrance is 5€, but if you go on the first Sunday of the month (that was what I did) the entrance is for free. So why not go there the next weekend and spend your Sunday over there?

Leopard print has always been my thing. Everyone who knows me knows that and I'm pretty sure that by now you're also aware of that. It happens that animal print was a huge trend this season. Who didn't wish to have that Realisation Par skirt in their closet? But I also know that a bunch of people are afraid of wearing this kind of prints and if you wear them in the wrong way they can look quite cheap. There are a few people who can pull off a head to toe look in animal print, but to me, the key always was to wear the printed piece with basics. It's not so risky, but you can't go wrong, it always looks good. If you want to be a bit risky, just add a red lip, it looks amazing with the leopard print. But tell me, are you fan of the animal print or not really?

2018, what a year! One thing I love about having a blog is having all these photos and memories together in one place and being able to look at them at any time. This year I really tried to push my content further and can’t wait for what the next year will bring. I’m really proud of it and the small family that we are now so thank you so much for keep reading and still leave me the most amazing comments. Today I selected some photos from the last twelve months and will tell you a little bit about what happened each month. It’s going to be a big one so grab a cup of coffee and start scrolling.

This month's playlist reflects perfectly my Christmas spirit or the lack of it. Not even a Christmas song, but I'm super excited with the NYE and with some things that are going to happen next year. One of them being Lana Del Rey performing here in Portugal and of course, I already bought my ticket. Because of that this month I haven't stopped listening to all her albums. Besides that, I also really like the new song by Mark Ronson with Miley Cyrus. I confess that I didn't like it even I first listened to it because it's not even the kind of music I usually listen to, but now I can't go a day without listening to it. And what about you? What have you been listening to this month?

And I'm back! I hope you had an amazing Christmas and that you missed me because I have loads of posts coming your way. Today's blog post is for all the short girls out there. Girls, I get you, the struggle is real, but although we can't magically become taller, there are a few styling tricks that create the illusion that you're way taller than what you actually are. So just keep reading and you're welcome!

High-Waisted Bottoms

Looking taller is all about making your legs look longer and how can you achieve that? Always make sure you're wearing high-waisted bottoms. Either you're wearing trousers or skirts, if they're high-waisted you will look taller. I honestly only wearing high waisted bottoms, I think I only own a pair of low waist jeans.

Pointed Shoes

Another way to make your legs look longer? Pointed shoes. They really create a longer line which makes you look taller. As you can see by these boots for example. If I was wearing some rounded shoes I would look way shorter.

One Colour From Head To Toe

Wearing different colours can "cut" your height so nothing better than wearing a monochromatic outfit to make your silhouette longer. To me, black will always be my go-to, but you can apply this trick with any colour really.

Every time I wear a pair of leather trousers I always feel like Ross from Friends. If you watched Friends (and it doesn't have to be for five times like me) I'm pretty sure you remember the episode when Ross wears a pair of leather trousers and can't take them off. Honestly, I don't think there is another tv show that makes me laugh as hard as Friends. And it's funny to think how a show from the '90s it's still so relevant today and people still watch it. I mean, I wasn't even born when the first episode aired and I'm a fan. I think that says a lot about a tv show. New generations are discovering it and Netflix just paid an outrageous amount of money so people could still watch the episodes over there. The thing is, it's still funny. Don't matter how many times I've watched an episode, I still laugh every single time. So here is a little odd to Friends and if you still haven't watched, just stop everything you're doing (okay, you can finish reading the post) and start watching it, I know you will love it. And if you have watched it, please share with me your favourite character? Mine are Ross and Phoebe, can't pick only one.

It has been a while since the last time I did a post with some inspiration, but I had this idea and if you like it, it will become a regular post here on the blog. I've already told you several times before that Instagram is to me also a source of inspiration and since they have that thing where you can save photos, I've been saving loads of photos over there. So my idea is to once in a while share with you what I've been saving (apart from all the memes that I save that believe me, are a lot). So, what do you think? This is the first post and as you can see I'm really into these beige tones. I hope you like it!

Two of these products are not new around here, but since today I'm going to talk you through my skincare routine I had to mention them, I really can't live without them. After trying out different brands and different ranges, this range by Bioderma was the one that really worked out to me. My skin was pretty bad and although it is not at 100%, these three products have been helping a lot. So I always start my routine with the micellar water. I got a travel size package and as you can see I already bought the bigger size, this is how a big of a fan I am. The second step is to use the cleansing gel all over my face (you can read more about this product on THIS post). And lastly to moisture my skin I use the Sébium Global moisturizer (you can read more HERE). It's not a very elaborate routine, but maybe because of that, it has been really working on my skin. But tell me, do you know this range from Bioderma?

As I already told you, this year I'm not really in a festive mood and you know what? It's totally fine. After reading Lizzy's post about this subject (you can read it HERE), it actually made me feel a bit better about it. We don't have to pretend to be in this super festive mood just for the sake of some blog posts or some Instagram content. So, I'm so sorry to inform you guys, but this year this is as festive as I will get. I'm not sharing outfits to rock at Christmas parties, the best holiday gifts or the dresses you should really buy to nail party season in style. Because let's be honest, you can find loads of posts about it in the blogosphere already. This is how I feel right now, but who knows? Maybe once New Year's Eve gets around the corner I will change my mind and even show you what I'm going to wear, but for now, this is it. Some velvet trousers and a bead embroidered jumper. Pretty festive, uh?

And today is time for a wishlist. As I commented with you, lately I've been really into wide leg trousers and would totally like to try this model in jeans as well. I find them really cool and can already think about a million different outfits with them so I'm seriously thinking about going to a store, try them out and give them a go. From Mango as well I'm really in love with this bag. I saw Emma Hill wearing it in one of her vlogs and I went straight away into to website. It happens that I already have loads of black bags and I don't really need it, but let's see. But what about you? Would you add any of these pieces to your closet?

Onde acaba a inspiração e começa a pura imitação?

Fashion is all about repeating. Everything was already done before so the key probably is doing that same thing and bring it to today in a more modern way. But I was watching yesterday a documentary about Amancio Ortega, the founder of the Inditex group, and how he has always copied other people’s designs. And you just have to enter a Zara store to realize that they still do it. You take a look at the store and you find some boots like the ones you love from Chloé, you find a bag pretty much like the one you’ve been fancying from Stella McCartney and a blazer like the one you would love to have from Balmain. And all of this for half the price (or even more). Where do inspiration stop and pure imitation begin? It’s a fine line and brands like Zara know exactly how to take full advantage of that. And you can also take this into us bloggers. I got an amazing response from THIS outfit that I shared here and over on my Instagram, but I have to be honest, this outfit wasn’t my idea. I got this idea of wearing a cardigan this way by THIS photo that I saw on Instagram. Yeah, it’s not exactly the same outfit, but was I copying it or was just inspired by it?  And it was her own idea or did she seen it somewhere else? See, fashion is all about cycles and we are constantly being invaded with visual information so it’s normal if we repeat what we’re seeing, it’s part of our nature.  But what do you think about this subject? Do you also copy outfits you see on social media?
