If you've been following for a while you already know that leopard is my favourite print ever. You can think of any piece of clothing that I will for sure own it in this print. Coat? Check! Skirt? Check! Blazer? Check! Trousers? Check! You get it, right? It happens that next season leopard print is going to be one of the biggest trends. To someone like me who loves this print is amazing because if before it was hard to find pieces in this print, this Winter I don't have to look around much, because it's literally everywhere, you can find this print at any store. But it also happens that I'm the kind of person that gets tired of a piece of clothing when everyone starts wearing it. You can call it whatever you want, but I just don't like to look like everyone else. So, will I get tired of this print that I love so much this Winter? Honestly, I don't think so, because any other print makes me feel as good and after all is already part of my style!

Contem-me tudo!

Today I bring you another post with a suggestion for a meal, the Lollipop's Diner. I don't know if it's the first diner that opened here in Porto, but it was the first I went to one here. It's right in the city centre, really close to Cedofeita, and the American references are everywhere. At the entrance, you find a liberty statue and inside it's the typical American diner with a jukebox and the red sofas. Of course, the main stars are the hamburgers and there're loads of options, but this time I went for a salad that was delicious as well. With the drink and coffee, I paid around 11€ for my meal. Next time I will try the hamburgers because there will be a next time for sure. Have you ever heard about this restaurant before? And do you know any other diners in Porto? Tell me everything!

Trends come and go and every season there's something new that everyone starts wearing, but quickly forget about. Do you remember the skorts? On that year everyone started wearing them (me included) and today it's very rare to see anyone wearing them. But there are certain pieces that season after season never go out of style, they're timeless and resist through all the trends. I can surely say that those are my favourite pieces and that my closet is full of. And this outfit is an example of that, pieces that I have for quite a while and that I still love. The first one is this white shirt. Yes, the neckline is a bit different from usual, but I'm still pretty sure that I will never get tired of it. And then, these jeans. Every season it might be a new fit and there's always a model that you like the most, but saying that one day jeans will get out of style is a big lie. I don't think any of us can imagine their closets without a few pairs of jeans, am I right? Of course, there are other classic pieces that we should all have in our closet, but that's for another post. Now tell me, what do you think about this outfit?

Sabem aquele episódio no America's Next Top Model onde fazem as makeovers e muitas delas têm de cortar o cabelo? Agora compreendo-as perfeitamente!

I always thought of myself as a short hair kind of girl until I let it grow. I've been letting my hair grow for the last couple of months and I don't think I have ever got so many compliments about my hair than I do now and I get it, I'm in love with it as well. I was always very detached to my hair, to me it was just hair. Do you know that episode on American's Next Top Model with the makeovers and some of the models have to cut their hairs? Some of them just cried a lot about it and I always thought they were very stupid, it's just hair, it will grow again. But you know what? I get them now! I don't know if our hair starts working as a comfort blanket somehow or if it's just a way for us girls to show our feminity, but it kind of becomes part of us and having someone telling you that you have to cut your hair off, it might be scary and make you feel like you will lose a part of you. With that being said, I don't know if I will ever go back to short hair. I don't know if one day I will have the guts to just cut it on a short bob as I had before. I feel like my long hair has just become part of me and don't know if I will ever feel as good with shorter hair. Maybe one day I will get tired of it and cut it off, maybe not, but for now, I'm loving my long hair and I will just let it be.

It's that time of the month when I share my playlist. It's once again a month full of old favourites that I've been loving to listen to again. I need to start listening to new music, new artists and other bands so I would love if you could leave me some of your favourites in the comments below. Meanwhile, you can check out what I've been listening to this month of August, I hope you like them!

I came to the conclusion that it's very hard for me to try out new things. I always choose the same ice cream flavour, at my favourite restaurants I go for the same dish because I know I'm going to love it, when I decide to watch a movie I always watch one that I've watched a million times before and even starting a new tv series is very hard for me, you can't imagine how many times I've watched some episodes of Friends or Sex and the City, because these are two series that I love and I know I'm going to have fun watching them. These are very small things, but I think they say a lot about me. I'm a person of habits and there's nothing wrong about that, but when you've watched the same episode of a tv show more than what you should it's kind of ridiculous. I was reading about this subject and apparently, we all have some kind of fear for the unknown and I think that's exactly what happens with me, I like to know what to expect and that's why I always end up doing the same choices. But tell me, are you also like this or you're totally the opposite? I think that with me this only happens with these small things from daily life and of course and of course, it's amazing to try out new things, after all, that's what makes us grow! It's like Einstein once said: "Who had never made a mistake, never tried anything new".

Curiosos? Vejam a lista em baixo!

During the week I always have breakfast in a rush and I'm pretty sure this also happens with most of you. That's why on the weekends I like to prepare a good breakfast or even go out and have it outside. And pancakes always have to be on the menu! If you're also like me, today I'm going to tell you my favourite places in Porto to eat pancakes. Are you curious? You can find the list down below!

The pancakes from Progresso cafe were the last ones I tried, but it was love at first bite. They're the ones you can see on the photo and they are as good as they look on the photo. A great option right in the city centre.

O DIPLOMATA
To me Diplomata means pancakes. If I go there around breakfast time or in the middle of the afternoon, there's no way I'm ordering something else. They have loads of toppings to choose from and the dough is really good. It's usually very crowded, but the wait is always worth.

NOSHI
Noshi is a healthier cafe so the pancakes are healthier as well. On the menu, you can find oat pancakes and honestly, these are my favourites. The dough is way lighter but equally delicious. The only thing that I don't like as much is that you can't choose the fruit that comes with the pancakes.

I guess you have already noticed it, but this Summer I'm really into skirts. Mini skirts are my favourites, but there are certain days that you just can't deal with it, do you know what I mean? Don't get me wrong, I love mini skirts and I sure feel amazing in one, but you have to always be very careful with your moves, make sure you don't show more than what you want when you sit down and there are certain days when you just don't want to deal with all that. That's when midi skirts come to save the day. I'm very short so I always thought midi skirts made me look shorter, but this Summer I'm really into them. They are just as breezy as any other kind of skirt, but the best thing is that they are super comfortable. Of course, I had to buy one in a leopard print, but if last Summer I only had one midi skirt in my wardrobe, this season the collection has grown. And since I'm already thinking about Autumn, they're the perfect transitional piece, who doesn't love an outfit with a chunky knit and a midi skirt?! So here is my love letter to midi skirts, I didn't see this one coming, but I really fell in love!

If there's a time that I read a lot is during Summer. Don't ask me why, but I think I read more in Summer than in the whole year. I want to start sharing with you the books I'm reading and I'm actually thinking about starting a new category here in the blog, but today I will share with you three memoirs that I love. I love reading memoirs, they're my favourite kind of books and it looks like I have a certain pattern, all the memoirs I've read are from people related to music, but they definitely have the best stories to tell. So here are three memoirs for you to read this Summer.

JUST KIDS BY PATTI SMITH
I can't get tired of talking about this book. I recommend it to everyone and I already talked about it here on the blog several times before. It will always be my favourite book that I can read over and over again. Besides focusing on the relationship between Patti Smith and Robert Mapplethorpe, you can also get lost in the streets of New York in the 60's.

THE GIRL IN THE BAND BY KIM GORDON
Against Just Kids by Patti Smith, on the 'Girl In A Band' you can read about Kim Gordon's whole life, the emblematic bass guitarist and vocalist of Sonic Youth. It starts with her childhood in New York, her move to Los Angels, the beginning of the band and her marriage with Thurston Moore. Besides everything, you really get to understand how it is to be a woman in a world where men rule.

LIFE BY KEITH RICHARDS
And if in the other two books the United States is the background, on Life by Keith Richards you go straight into the United Kingdom in the 60's. I confess that I'm not the biggest fan of Rolling Stones, but the place where the band is from really made me want to read this book and I loved it. Sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll - this really is the best quote to describe this book.

The daily life of a blogger is all about creating content and then getting that content ready to share with you. The day we took this photo was a very productive day for me in which I could get several posts, so I thought it would be interesting to talk you through a typical day of a blogger.

GET EVERYTHING READY
I'm one of those people who decide what to wear on the previous day, so this part was already ready. I knew I wanted to shoot two outfits so one of them was already in a bag to take with me to shoot later.

 CREATE CONTENT
Besides the typical outfits, I like to share with you another kind of content. I knew we would be going to have brunch to a place I've never been before so I took this chance to create a new post for the 'Where To Eat' category (that you can read HERE). Besides that, I  also shot for the 'The Best Apps To Edit Insta Stories' post (that you can read HERE).

SHOOT OUTFITS
After all that, it was time to shoot the outfits. As I already told you on that day I shot two different outfits. Every time I have some time I try to shoot as much as possible because during the week I don't know if I will have time. The first outfit was very easy to find a place to shoot, but for the second one was kind of hard to find the perfect background, but we did it anyway. Usually, it takes between 10 to 15 minutes to shoot an outfit.

EDIT AND SCHEDULE
Lastly, you have to edit all the content you've created and organize the posts. I already had the week of the blog organized so I knew when I was going to post each post, but I still did the upload of the photos and started thinking about the theme of each post.

As you know, this weekend I went to Gerês. I definitely am a city girl, but you can't imagine how good it felt this weekend on the country. Away from the city, without service on my phone and surrounded by nature. Sometimes only when you get there you realize how much you were needing some days like that. Our country has gorgeous places and Gerês is one of them. I really recommend you to do a little research and visit some waterfalls and lagoons, it really is amazing what nature can do. We went to Portela do Homem Waterfalls, Arado Waterfalls and Tahiti Waterfalls. The roads to get there are not the easiest, you have to be very careful, but once you get there you realize that all the effort was so worth it. Here you can see some photos that I took, but there's nothing like seeing this amazing views with your own eyes and breath some fresh air!
