Tenho-as usado imenso.

If for any reason I had to choose an outfit to wear for the rest of my life, with no doubt, I would choose a suit. A black, simple and timeless suit. Do you know those outfits that just make you feel like you? That really represent your style? That's how I feel every time I put on a suit. And if I already declared my love for this blazer before, I now found the perfect companion for it. I was on the hunt for the perfect tailored straight-leg trousers and these ones tick all the boxes. I just love how long and loose they are. I've been wearing them a lot. Both the blazer and the trousers are classic pieces, and I know they're going to be in my wardrobe for a very long time. But now I want to know: if you could only wear an outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be?

October is almost coming to an end, so it's time to share with you my monthly playlist. When I was in London, I bought 'Everything I've Come To Expect' by The Last Shadow Puppets and even though is an old album, there were a few songs that I haven't heard before and really fell in love with them. But this month I've only been listening to old songs, the only thing new is the latest song by Tame Impala that finally announced the launch of their new album, so excited for it. But what about you? What have you been listening to this month?

Digital influencer.

Digital influencer. Someone who built up a following on social media and has the power to affect purchase-decisions of his/her followers. It's a job for many people and even though social media is a side effect for me (I will always first consider myself a blogger and my blog will always be my main platform) I admit that I also make money as an influencer. However, the term 'influencer' has garnered a lot of negative connotations and influencers don't want to be recogzine as influencers anymore. I totally get it, the perception of an influencer has now become someone who gets free stuff, who has no real job and has no talent, and no one wants to be perceived like that. The same happened a few years ago, before Instagram, when blogs became a thing. Being a fashion blogger was synonymous of being vain and self-centred, pretty much the same that is happing today with influencers. Only who does this know how hard it can be. We have to be so many things at once. We have to create content, organize it, take photos, edit the photos, write, and the list goes on and on. So yeah, I'm an influencer, and I'm proud of that.

As I already wrote on my Instagram, I was really struggling to write a review on 'My Sister, The Serial Book'. I really have mixed feelings about this book. The story is oddly addicting. It tells the story of two sisters, one is a serial killer who murders all her boyfriends, the other one, Korede (the narrator of the story) helps her cover her crimes. I really enjoyed the plot, but I'm not a big fan of Oyinkan Braithwaite's writing style. The chapters are very short, and it's a very fast-paced story, and that was an issue for me. I'm a reader who likes a lyrically smooth pace or a heart-pounding thriller pace, and this book is neither of them. However, it really is a very addicting book, and the ending really managed to surprise me.

"I am more haunted by her actions than she is."

It has been a while since the last time I did a post dedicated to makeup, but, to be honest, my makeup routine is very simple, and when I find products that work for me, very likely I will stick to them. However, these last couple of days I've been trying out new products that quickly became favourites. So here are three products that I've been using lately and that I really love.

Lip Velvet Crush by Burberry

I already declared my love for Velvet Teddy by MAC several times before. It definitely is the lipstick that I use the most and my daily go-to. But I was on the hunt for a new lipstick to change it up a bit once in a while. So I tried Lip Velvet Crush by Burberry, and I'm in love. It's really easy to apply, and you can build the finish from an understated stain to a moderate coat of colour. Mine is in the Copper Pink shade.

Vynil Waterproof Dipliner by Flormar

Something new that I introduced to my makeup routine is a cat-eye eyeliner and with this eyeliner by Flormar is really easy to do it. I can't explain why, but applying this product is really easy for me. It has a shiny finish, and I've been having a lot of fun playing with it.

Mascara is probably the product that I change the most. I really like to try out this product from different brands because you can get different results from all of them. This one is perfect if you want very voluminous eyelashes (I guess we all want that, right?). They're Real by Benefit was one of my favourites, but now I'm torn between these two.

A moda é cíclica.

Some people love the 60s and the miniskirt revolution that happened during that time. Other people love the 70s and the flared jeans that got famous back then. Then we have a very big contrast between the craziness of the 80s and the 90s' minimalism. I love the 70s and the 90s and both decades are very inspiring to me, but if you ask me what was the best fashion era, my answer is now. I truly believe we are living in the best fashion era. We can get inspiration from all these past eras and have fun with it. One day we can channel our inner Jane Birkin, and, on the next day, we can be wearing a simple slip dress in true Kate Moss style. Or we can be a mix of all that. Fashion is cyclic. Everything has been made, all the trends have been worn before, the only thing that can change is how we adapt them to our own style. And if there's one thing I love doing is that.
