I already shared with you how to spend two days in Lisbon (you can read the post HERE), but today's post is a bit different and perfect for the ones who have already been in the city and are looking for some things to do that aren't very touristy. Lisbon is a gorgeous city that I love to visit, but it's also a very big city so there's always something to do or something new to see. These are five things that I love doing over there.

1. Go To Feira da Ladra Market

A Marta encontra-me sempre as melhores peças.

I have already been to Feira da Ladra Market before, but I went there again this time and completely loved it. For less than 20€ I bought some pretty nice stuff that I know that is unique. The market is huge so you really have to have some patience and look for the best pieces and always try to bargain the prices. For that, I had the best partner in crime, Marta that always finds me the best pieces. Besides all of this, the market is held at a very beautiful place, right next to Panteão Nacional. You can get there by leaving on the Santa Apolónia station and walk over there for about 10 minutes. It happens twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

2. Visit Cristo Rei

I always wanted to go to the Cristo Rei statue, but it's a bit far from the city centre so I always ended up postponing it. You probably remember the photos I took over there last year (you can see the photos HERE) and the view really is breathtaking. I also feel like it's a very peaceful place. When I went there I went by Cabify, but you can catch a ferry boat at Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas. Once you're there, you only have to take a bus that will take you right next to the statue. The journey is around 1 hour, but I can guarantee you that it's totally worth it.

3. Have A Drink At Park

Lisbon has several different spots with amazing views so why not joining that to a drink by the end of the day? Park rooftop bar is one of my favourites and it's right in the city centre. As the name suggests, it's on the seventh floor of a car park. If by any chances you go there on a windy day, don't worry, you can enjoy the view on an interior area.

4. Take A Electric Scooter Along The River

It's the new trend in Lisbon and of course, I had to give it a go. Obviously, Lisbon is known for its ups and downs so the best thing is to take the electric scooter along the river where everything is straight. If you want you can do like I did and grab an electric scooter at Terreiro do Paço (they are everywhere so you won't find hard to find one) and go to Alcaântara. For an even better experience, start the journey at the end of the afternoon so once you get to Alcântara right next to the bridge, you will see an amazing sunset. The journey takes around 40 minutes and I paid 7€ for it.

5. Grab A Coffee And A Nata

Okay, fine, this one is quite touristy, but there's no way you can resist the famous pastel de nata. You can already find different places where they do them, but to me, the best ones will always be the originals in Belém. For the full experience, don't get on the line because it's usually only for takeaway. Instead, go inside and get a coffee with the tart just like we Portuguese do.
