Depois de ler 'Isto Acaba Aqui' da Colleen Hoover (podem ler a minha review AQUI), claro que tinha de ler o seguimento da história: Isto Começa Aqui. Tal como o primeiro, gostei muito. A única diferença é que já começamos a leitura do mesmo a saber mais ou menos o que esperar. Mais uma vez, não vou dizer muito sobre a história porque também não vos quero fazer spoil do primeiro livro se ainda não o leram, mas, basicamente, este livro começa exatamente no mesmo ponto em que o primeiro terminou. Era esta continuação da história necessária? Não. 'Isto Acaba Aqui' teve o final perfeito, na minha opinião. Gostei do livro? Sim, gostei muito. Queria saber o que acontecia com estas personagens e foi exatamente isso que retirei desdte livro. Não é tão intenso e emocional como o primeiro e percebo que algumas pessoas tenham ficado chateadas com isso, mas, a meu ver, ainda bem que não o é. É um livro mais calmo e era isso mesmo que como leitora eu pretendia ver. As personagens precisavam de se desenvolver e curar os seus traumas de uma forma mais serena. Não é o típico livro da Colleen Hover cheio de drama e emoção, mas eu gostei bastante.
After reading 'It Ends with Us' by Colleen Hoover (you can read my review HERE), of course, I had to read the following book: It Starts with Us. Just like the first book, I really liked it. The only difference is that you already kind of expect what is going to happen when you start reading it. Once again, I'm not going to say much about the story itself because I don't want to spoil the first book if you haven't read it yet, but basically, this book picks up exactly where the first one ended. Was this book necessary? No, not at all. 'It Ends with Us' had the perfect ending in my opinion. Did I enjoy it? Yes, I did. I wanted to know what happened to those characters, and that's exactly what you get with this book. It's not as intense and emotional as the first one and I understand people weren't happy with it, but to be totally honest with you, I'm glad it's not. It's the calm after the storm. These characters needed to evolve and deal with all their traumas in a more serene way. It's not the typical heartbreaking book by Colleen Hoover, but I really liked it.
