Já há imenso tempo que queria ler o 'Mulherzinhas' e, finalmente, pedi-o emprestado a uma amiga e li-o. A história não me era desconhecida, vi o filme e como fã que sou de Friends também já conhecia alguns spoilers (se também são fãs, you know what I mean). 'Mulherzinhas' trata-se de um romance que conta a história das irmãs March, quatro raparigas que durante o livro fazem a passagen da infância para a vida adulta. É um livro que foi baseado na história da autora, algo que achei bastante interessante. No entanto, não é um livro que eu tenha adorado. É uma história muito bonita, sem dúvida, mas, para mim, não passa disso. É um livro bastante simples e fácil de ler, e eu sou fã de livros mais densos que nos fazem sentir todo o tipo de emoções. É um livro onde não acontece grande coisa. Mas tenho de mencionar que adoro a personagem da Jo. Sem dúvida, a melhor personagem em todo o livro. É uma rapariga forte, independente e até mesmo feminista (apesar do livro ter sido publicado em 1868). Sinto que ultimamente só tenho feito críticas aos clássicos, mas é a minha honesta opinião e não há nada de mal em ter uma opinião diferente da maioria. Mas digam-me, já leram este livro? Adorava saber se são da mesma opinião que eu.
I've been wanting to read 'Little Women' for the longest time and I finally asked a friend for it, and read it. I already knew the story, I watched the movie a while ago, and as a huge fan of Friends, I already knew a few spoilers (if you're also a fan, you know exactly what I mean). 'Little Women' is a novel about the March sisters, four girls who throughout the book make the passage from childhood to womanhood. It's loosely based on the author which I found very interesting. However, I'm not a fan. It's a lovely story, for sure, but it's a very simple and easy story. I'm much more into deep and strong books that make you feel all kinds of emotions, and this one just feels a bit... dull. It doesn't happen much. But I do have to say, I love Jo. She's the best character in the whole book. She's strong, she's independent, and she's a feminist (even though the book was published in 1868). I feel like, lately, I've been bashing all the classics, but this is my honest opinion, and there's nothing wrong with having a different opinion from the majority. But tell, have you read this book? I would love to know if you share my opinion.
