Olá, o meu nome é Helena, tenho 25 anos e sou uma outfit repeater, que é como quem diz, uma pessoa que repete outfits que já usou. É engraçado, pois tal termo só podia ter aparecido agora, uma altura em que consumimos roupa e fast-fashion de forma desenfreada. Afinal de contas, quando compramos roupa, não é suposto usarmos as mesmas vezes e vezes e sem conta? E, se tudo correr bem, durante muito tempo? Não devíamos ser todos outfit repeaters? Parece que não! E, quando és uma influencer, então a pressão de estar sempre a mostrar outfits novos e frescos é imensa. Não posso dizer que não gosto de roupa nova, porque gosto e dá-me sempre uma inspiração extra, mas também adoro mostrar-vos outfits/peças que já usei anteriormente. É o caso deste set que eu amo da Baume Studio. Já no ano passado partilhei outfits com ele, este ano faço-o novamente, e espero continuar a fazê-lo durante muitos anos. E acho que também isto pode ser inspirador. Por muito que as influencers queiram influenciar a comprar determinado produto, eu também o quero fazer, mas de forma ponderada. Eu quero influenciar-vos a comprarem roupa em segunda-mão, se forem comprar novo que seja de uma marca ética e sustentável (se tiverem possibilidade para isso) e, acima de tudo, que usem a roupa que têm no vosso armário.
Hello, I'm Helena, I'm 25 and I'm an outfit repeater which means that I repeat outfits I have worn before. It is funny because such word would only be created right now, a time when we consume clothes and fast fashion at such a fast pace. After all, when we buy clothes, aren't we supposed to wear them over and over again? And luckily for a very long time? Shouldn't we all be outfit repeaters? Looks like, we are not. And, as an influencer, the pressure to always share new clothes is huge. Of course, I like new clothes once in a while, I can't lie about it, but I also love to show you outfits/pieces of clothing I have worn and shared before. It's the case of this set that I love by Baume Studio. I shared it last year (multiple times), I'm wearing it again this year, and I hope to keep sharing it for many many years to come. I think that can also be inspiring. As much as influencers want to influence you (no pun intended) to buy a certain product, which I also do, I want you to do it in a thoughtful way. I want to influence you to buy second-hand, if you're going to buy new then buy from an ethical and sustainable brand (if you have the opportunity), and, above all, I want to influence you to wear the clothes you already have in your wardrobe.
