Algumas pessoas adoram a moda dos anos 60 e a revolução das mini-saias que aconteceu nessa década. Outras pessoas são fãs dos anos 70 e dos flared jeans tão característicos dessa altura. Depois existe um grande contraste entre a loucura dos anos 80 e o minimalismo dos 90. Eu adoro os anos 70 e os 90 e ambos são uma grande inspiração para mim, mas se me perguntarem qual foi a melhor era no que toca a moda, a minha resposta é hoje. Acredito mesmo que estamos a viver uma das melhores eras no que toca a moda. Pois podemos pegar em todas estas referências de décadas anteriores e brincar com elas. Um dia tanto podemos ser uma autêntica Jane Birkin, como no dia seguinte podemos estar a usar slip dress ao verdadeiro estilo de Kate Moss. Ou então podemos ser uma mistura disso tudo. A moda é cíclica. Já tudo foi criado, todas as tendências já foram ditadas, a única coisa que se pode alterar é como as adaptamos ao nosso estilo. E se há coisa que eu gosto de fazer é isso mesmo.
Some people love the 60s and the miniskirt revolution that happened during that time. Other people love the 70s and the flared jeans that got famous back then. Then we have a very big contrast between the craziness of the 80s and the 90s' minimalism. I love the 70s and the 90s and both decades are very inspiring to me, but if you ask me what was the best fashion era, my answer is now. I truly believe we are living in the best fashion era. We can get inspiration from all these past eras and have fun with it. One day we can channel our inner Jane Birkin, and, on the next day, we can be wearing a simple slip dress in true Kate Moss style. Or we can be a mix of all that. Fashion is cyclic. Everything has been made, all the trends have been worn before, the only thing that can change is how we adapt them to our own style. And if there's one thing I love doing is that.
