Estão ligadas ao mundo da música, mas são bem mais do que isso. São artistas que me inspiram de diferentes formas e, quem sabe, venham a inspirar-vos a vocês também. São três artistas femininas com um power contagiante que têm de conhecer (se ainda não conhecem).
They're related to the music world, but they are way more than just musicians. They are artists that inspire me in loads of different ways and who knows they will inspire you as well. These are three female artists with a contagious power that you have to know (if you don't know yet).

Já falei dela diversas vezes aqui pelo blog, é a autora do meu livro preferido "Apenas Miúdos". Mas além de escritora, é também cantora (trabalho pelo qual talvez seja mais conhecida), poetisa, fotógrafa e compositora. Tornou-se uma das mulheres mais influentes na história do rock e com 70 anos ainda continua a dar espectáculos incríveis.
I already talked about her here on the blog several times, she's the author of my favourite book "Just Kids". But besides being a writer, she's also a singer (maybe the work she's more known for), a poet, a photographer and composer. She became one of the most influential women in the rock history and with 70 years old she's still giving amazing shows.

Tinha de incluir a Alison nesta lista, porque desde que encontrei o trabalho dela que me tem inspirado de tantas formas. Provavelmente conhecem-na da banda The Kills e os espectáculos ao vivo são incríveis, tive a oportunidade de ver com os meus próprios olhos este Verão e foi mesmo inesquecível, ela é uma força da natureza. Também é pintora e podem ver alguns dos seus trabalhos no seu instagram.
I had to include Alison in this list, because since I found her work she has inspired me in so many ways. You may know her from the band The Kills and her live performances are so awesome, I had the chance to see it with my own eyes this Summer and I was just blown away, she's a force of nature. She's also a painter and you can see some of that work on her instagram.

Mais uma autora de um livro que adorei, "A Miúda da Banda". Começou a sua carreira sendo artista visual (ainda o é), mas será sempre conhecida por ser a baixista (e não só) dos Sonic Youth. Desde o início da sua carreira nos anos 80 que a Kim Gordon tem sido uma grande defensora deste movimento que se tem sentido, mais do que nunca nos dias de hoje, do girl power.
Another author of a book that I loved, "Girl in a Band". She started her carrer as a visual artist (and she's still doing it), but she will always be remembered as the bassist (and not only) of Sonic Youth. Since the beggining of her carrer in the 80s that Kim Gordon has been a big defender of this girl power movement that it has been feeling now more than ever.
