On The Djerf Avenue Controversy And Negativity On Social Media

Vou aproveitar estas fotografias minhas a usar o meu tão amado Forever blazer para falar um pouco de toda a controvérsia que se está a gerar com a Djerf Avenue. Tenho a certeza que sabem do que estou a falar, mas, se não sabem, basicamente estão a tentar cancelar a Matilda Djerf (podem pesquisar no TikTok para perceber melhor do que se trata). Portanto, sobre isso: estou completamente farta de pessoas, neste caso influencers, tentaram rebaixar outras influencers para se sentirem melhor com elas mesmas. E fazer conteúdo sobre isso. Sou só eu que acha completamente errado criar conteúdo numa onda tão negativa? Eu sei que muito provavelmente vai trazer imensas visualizações, mas será que vale mesmo a pena? É inspirador? É recompensador? Tenho quase 100% de certeza que não e, a parte triste, é que tenho visto isto imenso. Primeiro caso: uma influencer que já sigo há imenso tempo lança uma marca de roupa e quais são as primeiras Stories que ela faz sobre isso? A gozar com influencers que lhe pediram para oferecer roupa. Não estou a dizer que as pessoas que o fizeram estão certas, se gostas da marca então apoia o projeto, mas também não há qualquer tipo de necessidade de fazer esse tipo de conteúdo. Especialmente, vindo de uma influencer também. Já todos nós pedimos roupas a marcas, é uma realidade e não tenho vergonha de o admitir, por isso porquê criar conteúdo deste género? Porquê gozar com as pessoas? E agora toda esta controvérsia com a Djerf Avenue. Mais uma vez, não sei quem está certo ou errado, pessoalmente, adoro a marca e as roupas que tenho da mesma ainda hoje são das minhas favoritas, mas se decides fazer conteúdo a rebaixar e envorganhar seres humanos, então, sem dúvida, que és tu que estás errado. Deixei de seguir muitas pessoas por isso mesmo. Já há tanta negatividade no mundo real, quando vou às redes sociais quero desligar, quero rir, quero ver conteúdo bonito e alguma positividade. Vamos tentar ser a razão pela qual alguém acredita no bem. Acho que conseguimos fazer melhor que isto.

I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about but if you don't, summing up, people are now trying to cancel Matilda Djerf (you can just search on TikTok and you can go more in-depth about the subject). So, about that: I'm so tired of people, in this case influencers, trying to bring other influencers down just to try to make themselves feel better. And doing content about it. Is it just me who feels very wrong to do content on such a negative note? I know it will probably bring lots of views, but is it worth it? Is it inspiring? Does it fulfil you? I'm pretty sure it doesn't. And I've seen this a lot lately. First case: an influencer that I've been following for a while launched a clothing brand, and you know what are the first stories she does about it? Making fun of influencers asking her to gift her some items. I'm not saying they are right, of course, if you like the brand, you should support it, after all, it's a new brand. But is it really necessary to do content about it? And shaming them? Especially, if you are an influencer yourself. Don't tell me that you have never asked for free stuff, because I don't believe it. We have all done it. I have. And I'm not ashamed to say it. And now all this Djerf Avenue controversy. I'm not going to say who's right or wrong, personally, I love the brand and the clothes I have from them are still my favourites ever, but if you decide to do content bringing people down, then you are definitely wrong. It really upsets me and makes me feel sick to my stomach. And several influencers that I used to follow, decided to jump on the bandwagon and create mean content about it. Well, it's not the content I want to see. There's so much negativity in the real world, when I go on social media I want to disconnect, laugh, relax and see some positivity. Let's be the reason why someone believes in good, not the opposite. We can all do better.
