We Just Kept Dancing

Depois de muito pensar sobre o que escrever neste post, resolvi escrever sobre a única coisa que me está a passar pela cabeça neste momento, esta guerra que está a acontecer em pleno século XXI no meu próprio continente. Eu gosto de pensar neste blog como um escape e um sítio que podem visitar para se esquecerem um pouco da realidade e do que está a acontecer no mundo, mas quando algo deste género acontece, não consigo evitar pôr tudo em perspectiva. Tudo isto que faço aqui parece tão superficial. Os meus outfits, os meus temas e problemas de primeiro mundo, parece-me tudo tão ridículo e, no entanto, aqui estou em com este discurso a partilhar mais um outfit. A verdade é que temos de continuar a nossa vida e continuar a fazer aquilo que mais gostamos. Como a Lana Del Rey diz numa música que eu gosto muito e que partilhei ontem no meu Instagram "When the world was at war before, we just kept dancing...and we'll do it again". É muito isto. Temos de continuar a dançar, a cantar, a passear, a fazer o que nos faz feliz. Pode ser difícil e, para mim, estar a partilhar estas fotografias aqui ou continuar a partilhar no meu Instagram como se nada fosse, foi muito estranho, but I will keep dancing. Let's all dance together.
After hours of thinking about what to write about today, I decided to write about the only thing that is going through my mind right now: this war that is happening in the 21st century in my own continent. I like to think of this blog as an escape, a place you can visit to forget about reality and what is happening in the world, but when something like this happens I can't help but put everything into perspective. Everything I do suddenly looks so superficial to me. My outfits, my topics with my first world problems, everything looks so ridiculous but here I am sharing another outfit with you. The truth is that life still goes on and we have to keep doing what we love the most. Like Lana Del Rey says in one song that I really love and that I shared yesterday on my Instagram: "When the world was at war before, we just kept dancing...and we'll do it again". That's it. We have to keep dancing, we have to keep singing, we have to keep strolling around and doing what we love the most. It's going to be hard at first, I feel very weird posting these photos of myself right now, but I will keep dancing. I will keep doing my thing as long as I am able to. Let's all dance together.
