Após um mês no campo e de volta à cidade há mais de 15 dias, sinto que o meu coração está dividido entre os dois. No entanto, tendo de escolher, é algo bastante fácil para mim. Por um lado, não há nada como a tranquilidade do campo, especialmente, agora durante o confinamento, a liberdade que se sentia lá era qualquer coisa. Sinto saudades de acordar com vista para a Natureza, ouvir os pássaros e respirar ar puro logo pela manhã. Mas tenho de ser sincera, há certas comodidades de viver na cidade que são bastante difíceis para mim largar. O simples facto de poder encomendar qualquer coisa, a qualquer hora do dia, e recebê-la em poucas horas em casa é algo que ainda me deixa fascinada, quer sejam compras de mercearia ou um delicioso jantar. Além disso, os meus amigos mais chegados e família é na cidade que estão e também já tinha bastantes saudades de estar com eles. Por isso, é bom viver na cidade e o meu coração é aqui que pertence, mas é também bom saber que tenho o campo como refúgio sempre que eu quiser (e quando quiser um pouco de Natureza tenho sempre estes parques espalhados pela cidade).
After being in the countryside for a whole month and being back in the city for more than two weeks, I feel like my heart is divided between the two. However, if I had to choose only one, it would be very easy for me. On one hand, there's nothing like the tranquillity in the countryside. Especially now during the lockdown, the freedom I felt over there was out of this world. I miss waking up around Nature, hearing the birds singing, and breathing fresh air first thing in the morning. But I have to be honest, living in a city brings some commodities that are very hard for me to let go of. Being able to order anything at any time and having that deliver at your door is something that still blows my mind, either that being some groceries or a delicious meal. Besides that, my close friends and family are in the city so I also missed them like crazy. So, it's good to live in the city and my heart belongs here, but it's also great to known that I also have the countryside for when I need to recharge (and every time I want a bit of Nature, I can always visit these beautiful parks around the city).
