Bem, parece que 2020 acabou oficialmente. Tirando tudo o que se está a passar no mundo e, bem, uma pandemia mundial, 2020 foi um bom ano para mim. Viajei bastante nos primeiros meses do ano, o que foi fantástico, e, no fim do ano, a minha vida mudou bastante. Vamos então ver o que se passou nestes últimos doze meses.
Well, well, looks like 2020 is officially over. Despite all the craziness in the world and well, a worldwide pandemic, 2020 was actually quite a good year for me. I travelled a lot in the first months of the year which was amazing, and by the end of the year, my life had changed a lot. So let's take a look over the past twelve months.
January
Ao contrário dos outros anos, Janeiro foi um mês do qual gostei muito. Passei tempo com amigos, criei imenso conteúdo e no final do mês fiz a primeira viagem do ano. Fui a Munique no fim do mês para visitar o meu namorado e foi muito bom. Adorei conhecer uma cidade nova. Era algo que já não fazia há algum tempo, no ano passado, fui apenas a cidades a onde já tinha estado e, este ano, apesar de tudo, foi dos anos em que visitei mais cidades novas.
I usually get the January blues, but this year January was actually pretty good. I spent time with friends, shot a lot of outfits and by the end of the month, I went to Munich to visit my boyfriend, and that was really nice. I loved seeing a new city. It was something I haven't done in a while since last year I only went to cities I've been to before and this year, despite everything, it was a year in which I visited a lot of new cities.
February
Fevereiro foi marcado por outra viagem à Alemanha, desta vez a Berlim com algumas amigas. Esteve imenso frio, mas adorei a cidade. Também comecei a fotografar cada vez mais em analógico e a primeira fotografia que coloquei neste mês ainda é das minhas favoritas.
February was marked by another trip to Germany, this time to Berlin with some friends. It was really cold, but I really loved the city. I also started shooting more and more in analogue and the first photo that it's representing this month is still one of my favourites.
March
Março foi um mês agridoce. Começou de excelente forma, pois fui conhecer a Madeira. Nunca lá tinha estado e adorei, o tempo esteve incrível e foi uma viagem muito especial. Mas, mal cheguei, o país entrou em estado de emergência e ficámos todos em casa.
March was a bittersweet month. It started in a great way since I went to Madeira. I've never been there before and I loved it. The weather was amazing, and it was a very special trip. But as soon as I arrived, the country went into lockdown, and we had to stay at home for a while.
April
Abril foi outro mês em casa. Foi um mês difícil a diversos níveis, mas algo que me deixou feliz foi como continuei com os posts no blog todos os dias. Pensei em desistir algumas vezes, mas deixa-me orgulhosa que não o tenha feito. Fez-me puxar mais pela minha criatividade.
April was another 'stay at home' month. It was a hard month, but something that made me really happy was how I kept blogging every single day. I thought about stopping for a while, but I'm very proud that I didn't. It really made me develop my creativity.
May
Em Maio, finalmente, pudemos sair de casa. Ainda me lembro que das primeiras coisas que fiz foi um piquenique no Parque da Cidade com a minha mãe. Acho que foi aqui que comecei a perceber o quão bem eu me sentia no meio da Natureza. Os dias de praia começaram também e acho que nunca fiz tanta praia como fiz este ano.
In May, we were finally able to leave the house. I remember that one of the first things I did was a picnic at a big park with my mom. It was here that I start to realize how good I feel around Nature. The beach days also started and I don't think I have gone to the beach as much as I have this year.
June
O mês de Junho começou em grande, pois no primeiro dia do mês mudei de casa. Saí de casa da minha mãe e arranjei a minha própria casa para viver com o meu namorado. Foi um mês de imesas mudanças como podem perceber. Adaptar-me a uma nova casa, mais responsabilidades, mas foi um dos melhores meses este ano.
July started in a big way because on the first day of the month I moved house. I got out of my mom's house and got my own house to live together with my boyfriend. It was a month of change as you can understand. Adapt to a new house, more responsibilities, but it was one of the best months of the year.
July
Em Julho foi a dois sítios em Portugal onde nunca tinha estado: Vila Nova de Cerveira e Coimbra. Adorei os dois. Vila Nova de Cerveira passou a ser o meu sítio onde relaxar, afastar-me da cidade e conectar-me com a Natureza. Coimbra foi uma cidade que me surpreendeu bastante, encontrei imensas semelhanças com Lisboa.
In July I went to two places in Portugal that I've never been to before: Vila Nova de Cerveira and Coimbra. I loved both. Vila Nova de Cerveira is now my place to relax, get away from the city and connect with Nature. Coimbra is a city that really surprised me, I found it very similar to Lisbon.
August
Agosto foi o mês para relaxar e conhecer mais um pouco do país. Tirei uma semana de férias e fui com alguns amigos fazer praia e aproveitar o Verão. Foram dias mesmo muito bons e de todos os sítios onde fomos destaco a Ilha das Berlengas, é mesmo um sítio lindo.
August was a month to relax and to visit my country. I took some days off and went to the beach with some friends to enjoy Summer. These were some pretty good days, and I visited the Berlengas island, a very beautiful place.
September
Setembro é o mês do meu aniversário e, apesar de não gostar de grandes celebrações, gostei imenso do meu dia. Passei-o em Vila Nova de Cerveira junto daqueles que mais gosto. No fim do mês, fiz a minha primeira viagem pós-quarentena e que bom que foi. Fui a Amesterdão com a minha melhor amiga e adorei a cidade. Estava mesmo a precisar de sair do país por alguns dias e conhecer uma cidade nova.
September is my birthday month and, even though I'm not a big fan of it, I really enjoyed my day. I was at Vila Nova de Cerveira together with the ones I love the most. At the end of the month, I did the first trip post-lockdown, and it was so nice. I went to Amsterdam with my best friend, and I loved it so much. I was really in need of some days out of the country and see a new city.
October
Outubro é dos meus meses favoritos, pois é o começo do Outono, a minha estação do ano favorita. Mas foi difícil, pois foi um mês de imensa incerteza no país. Não saber o que vai acontecer é algo que me deixa com bastante ansiedade e lembro-me que foi um mês onde foi posto em causa um novo confinamento. Felizmente, isso não aconteceu e, mal se souberam as novas medidas, senti-me logo mais calma.
October is one of my favourites months since Autumn beggings, my favourite season. But it was a hard month since the country was surrounded by a lot of uncertainty. Not knowing what was going to happen is something that makes me very anxious, and I remember that this month we weren't really sure if we were going into lockdown again. Luckily, that didn't happen, and as soon as I knew the new rules, I felt calmer.
November
As minhas idas a Vila Nova de Cerveira são sempre uma highlight do mês e, apesar de ter estado lá pouco tempo neste mês, soube muito bem. É algo que quero fazer mais este ano, passar lá mais tempo e aprender a desligar-me de todo o barulho da cidade.
My trips to Vila Nova de Cerveira are always a highlight of the month and, even though I wasn't there much time this month, it felt good. It's something I want to do more this year, go there more often, spend more time over there, and turn off from the city noise.
December
E chegámos ao último mês do ano. Foi um mês bom. Gostei imenso de criar estas fotografias natalícias para vocês, apesar de ter perdido um rolo de filme completo. O meu Natal foi calmo, mas foram dias muito bons. Espero que tenham um excelente 2021 e obrigada por continuaram a ler e a estar desse lado, sou muito grata por isso.
And we arrive at the last month of the year. It was a good month. I really enjoyed shooting these festive photos for you, even though I lost a whole roll of film. My Christmas was calm, but it was good. I hope you have a great 2021, and thank you so much for keep reading and being on that side, I'm very grateful for that.
