Outro post sobre meias. Quem diria que me iria tornar tão fã deste acessório. Para vos ser sincera, culpo a Rob, personagem interpretada pela Zoë Kravitz na série High Fidelity. Como já vos disse, a personagem tem um estilo incrível e as meias é algo que todos os seus outfits têm em comum. Posso só agora ter chegado a esta conclusão, mas acho mesmo que as meias podem mudar um outfit completamente, por isso hoje venho-vos dizer as minhas lojas favoritas onde as comprar e dar-vos algumas ideias de como as deixar brilhar nos vossos looks diários.
Another post about socks. Who knew I would become such a fan of this accessory. To be honest with you, I blame Rob, the character Zoë Kravitz plays on High Fidelity. As I already told you, the character has an amazing style, and the socks are something that all her outfits have in common. I might only come to this conclusion right now, but socks can really change the whole look. So today I'm sharing with you my new socks, my favourite stores where to buy them, and some ideas on how to style them.
Se me seguem no Instagram, sabem que comprei há pouco tempo novas meias na Uniqlo e esta loja é mesmo um dos meus sítios favoritos onde as comprar. Para meias mais básicas e neutras é o sítio indicado. Se querem algo mais divertido a Happy Socks é uma excelente escolha. Tenho algumas no meu armário, mas por enquanto ainda não saíram de casa.
If you've been following me on Instagram, you know that I recently bought some socks at Uniqlo and this store really is one of my favourite places to buy socks. It's the perfect place for some basic and neutral socks. If you're into something edgier, Happy Socks is a great choice. I have a few from this store, but I'm not yet brave enough to rock them outside.
How To Style Them
Não há grande ciência em como as usar, mas, sem dúvida, que há outfits que as deixam brilhar mais que outros. Eu gosto especialmente de ver sapatilhas, como as All Stars ou as Vans, com meias brancas. Este Verão acho que vou usar imenso essa combinação com vestidos. Mas claro que há muitas outras opções. Tal como podem ver pelas imagens, também acho que fico muito giro umas meias às ricas com botas, ou então algo mais divertido com loafers.
Styling socks is not something very hard, but some outfits let them shine more than others. I really like seeing white socks with sneakers, such as All Stars or Vans. I think I will wear this combination with dresses a lot this Summer. But there are so much more options. As you can see by the photos, I think it looks really cute striped socks with boots or something edgier with loafers.
