Estilo pessoal é algo que acho bastante interessante, principalmente, quando o meu estilo muda tanto. Um dia posso estar a usar um outfit super desportivo (como este, por exemplo) e, no dia seguinte, posso estar com um vestido bem feminino, como neste outfit que partilho hoje com vocês. E sinto-me super bem em qualquer um dos outfits. Mas o que diz isto sobre mim? Que o meu estilo é bastante camaleónico? Ou que não faço ideia do meu estilo? A verdade é que é bastante difícil para mim definir o meu estilo. Minimalista? Às vezes. Grungy? Tem dias. Feminino. Por que não? O meu estilo está constantemente a evoluir, tal como aquilo que gosto e não gosto. Mas sabem que mais? Não há problema nenhum com isso. Está na nossa natureza querer pôr rótulos em tudo, torna tudo mais fácil, desde a nossa personalidade à nossa sexualidade, mas o estilo pessoal é algo com que nos devemos divertir e explorar mais frequentemente. Nem sempre temos de pôr tudo em diferentes caixas. Já dizia Betsey Johnson: "Have fun with fashion, dress to entertain yourself."
Personal style is something that I find very interesting, especially when my own style changes so much. One day I can be wearing a very sporty outfit (like this one), and on another day, I can be wearing a very feminine dress. And I felt great in both outfits. What does that say about me? Does it say that I'm a chameleon, or that I have no idea what my personal style is? The truth is that I can't really describe my style. Minimal? Sometimes. Grungy/edgy? Sometimes. Feminine? Sometimes. My style is constantly evolving, and I'm always changing my mind about the things I like and don't like. But you know what? It's fine. It's in our nature to label everything around us, it makes it easier, from personality to sexuality, but personal style is something we should explore and experiment with more often. We don't need to put everything in a box. Like Betsey Johnson once said: "Have fun with fashion, dress to entertain yourself."
