Paris, Paris...por onde começar. Há tanto a dizer sobre esta cidade que acho que a melhor forma é fazer um resumo com cinco das minhas coisas favoritas para fazer nesta cidade. Já tenho feito este tipo de post com outras cidades, por isso tinha de fazer sobre Paris também. Espero que gostem!
1. See The View From Arc De Triomphe
Paris tem imensos sítios com vistas lindíssimas, mas acho que a vista do Arco do Triunfo é mesmo a minha vista favorita. A subida é feita por escadas, o que pode ser bastante cansativo, mas a vista vale mesmo a pena. O preço para subir é de 12€, mas se tiverem entre 18 a 25 anos e forem cidadãos da UE a entrada é gratuita.
Paris has some amazing viewpoints, but my favourite really is the one from Arc De Triomphe. To get to the top of the monument you have to go up the stairs which can be very tiring, but the view is breathtaking. To go up you have to pay a 12€ fee, but if you're 18-25 years old and an EU citizen it's for free.
2. Grab A Bite By The Seine River
Sempre que visito uma cidade, gosto de o fazer de forma a sentir-me ao máximo como um local e se há coisa que se vê bastante os franceses fazer é comer ao pé do rio. Por isso, porque não comprar um crepe (afinal de contas estão em Paris) e comer ao pé do rio com uma vista lindíssima para a cidade.
Every time I visit a city I really like to feel like a local as much as possible and if there's one thing that you see the French often do is to eat by the river. So why not buy a crepe (you're in Paris after all) and eat it by the river with an amazing view.
3. Visit d'Orsay Museum
Quando fui ao Museu d'Orsay já fui bastante tarde, portanto vi tudo muito a correr, mas do que vi, deu para perceber que, facilmente, conseguia passar lá umas quantas horas. Podem encontrar quadros de Van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Paul Gauguin, entre muitos outros. Se quiserem uma vista mais sossegada, às quintas-feiras o museu está aberto até às 21h45.
It was quite late when I went to the d'Orsay museum so I had to see everything really quickly, but from what I saw I could easily spend a few hours over there. You can find paintings by Van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Paul Gauguin and many others. On Thursdays, the museum is open until 9h45pm which is usually least crowded.
4. Take A Ride At The Eiffel Tower Carrousel
Tenho a certeza que já viram muitas fotos do famoso carrossel ao pé da Torre Eiffel, mas em vez de se limitarem a tirar fotos, aconselho-vos mesmo a andar no carrossel. A probabilidade de serem vocês e imensas crianças é imensa, mas não se deixem intimidar, porque foi para mim uma das highlights desta viagem. A criança em vocês vai agradecer-vos.
I'm pretty sure you have seen loads of photos of the famous carrousel by the Eiffel Tower, but instead of just taking photos of it, you should actually take a ride. It's probably going to be just you with a bunch of kids, but don't get intimated by it, it was one of the best things I did on this trip. The kid in you will thank you later.
5. See The Eiffel Tower From Champ De Mars
Para uma vista incrível da Torre Eiffel, aconselho-vos a irem ao pôr-do-sol para o parque Champ De Mars e verem as luzes da torre acenderem-se. O jardim é mesmo muito agradável, por isso levem alguma coisa para beber e deixem-se ficar por lá a apreciar o momento e a magia da cidade.
To get an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower I really recommend you to go at sunset to the Champ De Mars park and see the tower light up. The garden is really nice so grab something to drink and enjoy the beauty of the city.
