Já vai há algum tempo desde a última vez que fiz um 'Porto Coffee Guide' e, visto que abrem cafés novos no Porto a toda a hora (claro que não literalmente, mas vocês percebem a ideia), já estava na hora de vos recomendar mais alguns que têm de ficar a conhecer. São todos na baixa, mas acaba por ser o sítio onde passo mais tempo cá no Porto, por isso as minhas descobertas acabam por ser todas por lá. Já foram a algum deles?

It has been a while since I did a 'Porto Coffee Guide' and since there are new cafes opening here all the time (okay, not literally, but you get the idea), it was about time to recommend you a few more. All of them are downtown, but it´s the place where I spend most of my time here in Porto so it makes sense that all my finds are around this area. Tell me, have you been to any of these?

Monumental Café

Este é talvez o mais recente café da cidade do Porto. Bem no centro da cidade, na Avenida dos Aliados, é um café bem fancy com um espaço super giro, tenho a certeza que já viram muitas fotos no Instagram deste café. É um pouco mais caro, mas vale muito a pena.

This is probably the newest cafe in town. Right in the city centre at Aliados Avenue, it´s a very fancy cafe with a very nice space, I´m sure you already saw quite some photos from this café on Instagram. It´s a bit pricey but totally worth it.

A Brasileira

Sinceramente, nāo sei como nunca tinha mencionado este café, porque é dos meus favoritos cá no Porto. Depois de muitos anos fechado, a Brasileira abriu com o espaço renovado e com uma decoração fantástica. O menu é bastante variado e o espaço é perfeito para um café durante a tarde.

Honestly, I don't know how I haven´t mentioned this cafe before because it´s one of my favourites here in Porto. After several years closed, Brasileira opened completely new and with amazing decor. The menu is quite big and it´s the perfect place to have a coffee in the middle of the afternoon.

Sobre este café já fiz um post (podem ler AQUI), mas tinha de o mencionar neste post também, porque gostei mesmo muito. Já conhecia o de Lisboa, por isso quando soube que ia abrir aqui no Porto também fiquei muito contente. O café, que é moído no momento, é maravilhoso e o espaço é perfeito para passar um bom bocado.

I already did a post about this cafe (you can read it HERE), but I had to mention it in this post as well because I really liked it. I already knew the one in Lisbon so when I found out they were opening one here in Porto I was super happy about it. The coffee that is roasted at the moment is really good and it´s the perfect place to spend a few hours.
