What To Read
Não é novidade nenhuma que sou uma grande fã da Patti Smith. Como sabem, o 'Apenas Miúdos' é o meu livro favorito, mas este mês resolvi recomendar-vos um outro livro dela: o 'M Train'. É bem diferente do livro que mencionei primeiro, mas igualmente maravilhoso. A história começa num pequeno café em Nova Iorque onde a artista toma o seu café todas as manhãs e retrata uma parte bem posterior da sua vida.
It's not new that I'm a big fan of Patti Smith. As you know 'Just Kids' is my favourite book, but this month I decided to recommend you another book by her: 'M Train'. It's very different from the first book that I mentioned but equally amazing. The book starts at a small café where the artist goes every morning for a coffee and it's from a later point in her life.
Where To Eat
Para comer, este mês recomendo-vos um espaço cá no Porto ondem podem encontrar vários sítios onde se deliciarem. Estou a falar das Galerias Lumiére bem no centro do Porto e onde podem encontrar diversos sítios para um bom almoço. Normalmente, a minha escolha recai pelo Piquenique, um restaurante vegetariano, mas as opções são diversas.
To eat this month I recommend you a place here in Porto where you can find several different places where to eat. I'm talking about Lumiére galleries, right in the city centre and where you can find different restaurants for a great meal. Usually, I always go to Piquenique, a vegetarian restaurant, but there are several different options.
What To See
Dezembro é, inevitavelmente, o mês do Natal, por isso a minha sugestão deste mês é a Winter Wonderland em Lisboa. Se querem entrar no espírito natalício é lá que têm de ir. A entrada é gratuita, fica no Parque Eduardo VII e o horário depende de dia para dia.
December is the month of Christmas so my suggestion this month has to be Winter Wonderland in Lisbon. If you want to get into the Christmas spirit you have to go there. It's for free, it's at Eduardo VII park and the schedule depends from day to day.
