E, agora que já começou oficialmente o Verão, temos uma nova rubrica aqui no blog, Book Club At The Beach. Basicamente vou-vos recomendar diferentes livros para levaram para a praia, porque afinal de contas tenho a certeza que, tal como eu, gostam de ler na praia. Começamos com um dos meus livros preferidos, Apenas Miúdos da Patti Smith. Resumindo, é um livro de memórias, da sua vida com Robert Mapplethorpe, mas também representa uma época, os dias do Chelsea Hotel e Nova Iorque no fim dos anos 60. Já alguém leu este livro? And now that Summer has officially started, we have a new rubric here in the blog, Book Club At The Beach. Basically I will recommend to you different books to take with you to the beach, because after all I'm pretty sure that just like me you really enjoy readind at the beach. We start with one of my favourite books, Just Kids by Patti Smith. Summing up it's a book of memories, her life with Robert Mapplethorpe, but also represents a period of time, the days of Chelsea Hotel and New York in the late 60's. Does anyone read this book?
