Já estou de volta ao Porto e durante esta semana de férias consegui manter o blog actualizado, por isso a "tips for bloggers" de hoje é sobre isso mesmo, como manter o blog actualizado enquanto estão de férias. I'm back in my town after after one amazing week of vacation and during this week I was able to update the blog everyday so today's "tips for bloggers" are exactly about that, how to keep your blog updated while you are on vacation. 1. Avisa os teus seguidores que vais estar de férias. Durante as férias poderás não conseguir manter a rotina habitual do teu blog o que é normal, afinal de contas estás de férias, mas avisa os teus seguidores que isso pode vir acontecer

1. Let your followers know that you are on vacation. While you're on vacation you maybe not be able to keep the usual routine of your blog which is okay, afterall you are on vacation, but let your followers know that that may happen

2. Agenda posts. Não sabes como será o wi-fi no sítio onde vais ficar, por isso deixa já alguns posts agendados, nem que seja apenas para os primeiros dias, ou então deixa já as fotografias carregadas nos posts em rascunho e depois é só escreveres o post e publicar

2. Schedule posts. You don't know how the wi-fi is going to be on the place that you are staying so let some posts schedule, maybe just for the first days or then leave the photos uploaded on the draft of the post and then you just have to write the post and publish it

3. Procura o momento ideal para fazer o post. Não deixes de ir à praia ou de ir a outro sítio qualquer para fazeres um post. Se estás de férias aproveita-as e quando tiveres um tempinho livre, então aí faz o teu post

3. Look for the perfect moment to do the post. Don't stop from going to the beach or other place just because you have to blog. If you are on vacation enjoy it and then when you have a free time you can do your post

4. Faz guest posts. Isto é algo que eu não fiz ainda, mas quero imenso fazer para a próxima. Se achares que não vais conseguir actualizar o teu blog, convida outras bloggers para fazer guest posts no teu blog, podes por exemplo convidar uma blogger por cada dia da semana

4. Do guest posts. This is something that I didn't do yet, but I really want to do it next time. If you think you may not be able to update your blog, invite other bloggers to do some posts on your blog, you can for example invite a blogger for each day of the week

5. Actualiza as tuas redes sociais. Hoje em dia as redes sociais já são uma extensão do teu blog, por isso tens sempre as redes sociais onde podes mostrar bocadinhos das tuas férias e os teus seguidores vão adorar ver imagens diferentes do habitual

5. Update your social media. Nowadays social media is already an extension of your blog so you can always share some bits of your vacation on your social media accounts and your followers will love to see different photos from usual
